Wow, come on, even I know how to sew on a sewing machine.:th
Some people failed the sewing section in Home Ec in school. Not saying which persons those might be....*cough*.... but some people had to learn all on their own.... with no guidance once they became older adults, because no one in the family knew how to sew when they were growing up and no machines where in the house. Again, not saying which persons those might be....

Next trip out for my medical stuff I will see if Wal-Mart has any thanks.
Materials for making masks are getting hard to come by for sure.
Next option is bread bag ties.

I want to make mine removable so it can be taken out for laundering.

Same thing here. Like for real! Sits and watches car shows weekend after weekend for YEARS but the minute he is told to he doesn't WANT to. 🤨
This kid here is cutting headbands in half to use for the masks he is making.

Pretty sure it was more at no one ever teaching you how to.properly size undergarments. :hugs

No one taught me either. I had to ask a lady at the store how to measure and what the numbers and letters meant.
I thought that might be it but wasn’t sure haha

But yeah, my mom used to always just buy them a million sizes too big 😂 and I hate wearing them anyway so I just found a few I like and stick to those kind haha

That sounds really strange to me. Sunlight supposedly kills viruses as does salt water I’m sure and even if it DID get in the water, surely it would be swept out to sea immediately as soon as the wave retreated??? It’s not the same patch of water that keeps coming back lol water doesn’t stay in one place. Clearly someone didn’t think that through or doesn’t understand how the ocean and waves, tides, currents, etc. work???

Who comes up with stupid things like that?
IMO the beach would be a great place to go-maintaining space. IMO I think the virus would be too dilute.

Someone said a virus mutates every time it passes. I certainly agree, but don't know why each time it's passed from one person to another weakens.

I have also seen said "what if it's a hoax" said with verbal eye rolling, and repeated He said "it's a hoax" by other newsy people.

. It seems that what is initially stated by people that I have personally seen their lips move saying -"possibly , could be, looks like, what ifs, it may, it may be like, what if, sounds like, etc. - end up translated to - "it is"- by the time it gets to other news people. And then their comments added "so many have died by someones mishandling" of what they do " "That someone will kill us all" , he reacted "too late" and it cost us lives. Anything to keep their viewers.

I took a BS sewing class in 7th grade.

I know I passed the class but I don't remember much else.
I didn't grow up with a sewing person in my house and my grandma lived in another state. ☹️
