Yeah, that’s true to a point but that was kind of my point there... there’s no need to constantly try to prove somebody wrong for stating their opinion.

Also, there’s a lot of assumptions here.... I know plenty. I majored in psychology and behavioral science.

But I’m done discussing this. Hope you have a good day.

Thanks for sharing this!

I have a bunch of seeds I just bought and I'm not using them all. I'm going to vacuum seal them with my foodsaver for next year.

The butter head lettuce plants I got at TSC have really taken off but I need to look up when you should harvest the lettuce.

Butter head lettuce at the store is 🤮 it tastes like dirt. Homegrown is so delicious.
I never even thought of vacuum sealing haha such a good idea. Although if they’re in those foil type pouches they’d probably be fine as is.

And I never went by and specific rules with my lettuce, just when it looked big enough haha

I forget which lettuce I grew year before last (forgot last year but had one volunteer) but it was good.

This is so helpful! Thanks! Although is this under special storage conditions or normal? I mostly have the paper type ones in a drawer but do have some of the foil seal type.

For real mine are in the little paper packets they came in ....I fold the top when I am done. I put them sorted by veggie type ie radish in one zippy bag lettuce in another. They sit on a shelf in my sewing room. I get great sprout rates even on my very old seeds.

I seriously almost pass out after I eat any type of flour and the next day I feel so bloated and almost look pregnant from it.
Very common reaction for gluten intolerant people. My kiddo is a true celiac and has been from birth, but in learning all about it I realized I was intolerant and went full GF a long time ago and will never go back. If dairy is getting you as well, maybe check out the anti-inflammatory diet, which from what you've said you are basically doing anyway. Based on some of the things you've mentioned about your health, general inflammation might go hand and hand with it. Small diet changes can really be helpful.

Aside from gluten, I can handle a little bit of dairy like yogurt and cheeses, but my system is much happier with alternative milks. And now that they can be found at reasonable prices these days, my family can enjoy things like ice cream again.
My ice cream maker was worth every penny and homemade strawberry sorbet is the Bomb!

I'm interested in knowing that too. I threw away my old seeds because I heard they're no good after a year. The package even says they expire after a year.
I think that has to do with germination rate though. The older they get the less likely you are to get as many plants.
Yeah exactly and plus they wouldn’t sell many seeds if everyone knew they lasted 5 years. ;)
