Gotta admit that I didn't read the entire thread, but thought I'd comment (lazy, I know). I've been exposed and am home-quarantined. Goodness. But I am also a teacher, and my school is closed for the next 5 weeks. Everything is weird. I'm not worried for me, but I'm worried for whoever else was exposed and took it home to their grandparents, immunocompromised siblings, etc.

Well, with all this time on my hands, I guess I'll go back and read all of the posts. Lol...
What are you doing to keep yourself as healthy as possible?

Viruses are continually changing/adapting they are not static pathogens. Some attenuate others strengthen. Recent information from France indicates that half of the critical cases there are in individuals younger than 60.

But there's absolutely no scientific evidence that changes in morbidity and mortality are caused by a mutation in the virus.

Bring to a boil and reduce heat and let them cook down all day to thicken up. Along with a roux, onions, garlic, bell pepper, celery, tasso, and smoked sausage. And seasonings served over rice with corn bread or French bread

You're making me drool. I used to get a plate of red beans and rice at Holmes Cafeteria in the Quarter for $0.30. It was so good.

Okay - immediate prayer request here. DD just got a call from her father. His wife is sick with what she thought was the flu. She is currently at an urgent care facility getting tested for Covid-19. DS spent the weekend with them a week ago. I feel almost guilty about it, but I've never prayed so fervently for someone to have the flu in my life. The other option scares the living daylights out of me!

EDIT - Just found out that it's NOT flu, but they "Don't know what it is." Yay. Not. And apparently, it takes 3-5 days to get the Covid-19 tests back, WHAT? I'm gonna be a basket case by then.

Prayer Warrior on duty. 🙏

Nothing's harder than waiting but BREATHE! Better than 90% of the folks who get Covid-19 -- and we're ALL pulling for you that it won't be -- will recover.

I hope she's getting good care right now! And I hope you'll get a good night's sleep and be better prepared for tomorrow.

Nor is there any evidence that they are not. Frankly it's far too early for any such evidence with this particular virus. It pays to remain prudent and not work with perceived agendas.
