Hopefully they change the usual sale amounts to what they've been selling with this virus So that the stores can continue to stay stocked...

I honestly believe that every store should have limits to what they will sell to each customer.

My parents said that Costco would only let you get one toilet paper package that's it.

I am not sure if it is ALL Costcos but I got an e-mail that they will not only be limiting quantities a shopper can buy but also limiting how many can be in the store at any given time.

To be clear this e-mail was from Costco not a random weirdo. :p

But MA has a large student population living closely together in dorms and small apartments, no? A good breeding ground. ...especially since they tend to feel invincible and not heed warnings and protocols.

I can remember when AIDS was first becoming a rapidly increasing problem. Students at UCLA -- some of the brightest of their generation -- were saying they weren't using condoms because they just didn't think it could happen to them.
They have closed the universities and the dorms. Nearly half the current cases were attendees at a conference in Boston, NOT college students. As hard as it is for us old poops, young people and kids are having a hard time dealing with this. They don’t have the long years of experience to comfort them as we do. We need to help them feel safe and hopeful that this will pass. After all, they are the future. Sorry if that sounds “preachy.”

Yes to this!!! My youngest is having a hard time dealing with this. He misses his friends, his swim team, and being able to go to stores.
