While everyone was making long lines at grocery stores at the start of this thing, my husband ran over to TSC to buy some feed. Gonna do the math real quick to make sure I bought enough, but I’m pretty sure we did and I wouldn’t want to leave other chicken owners without food for their birds. But that store is always empty my husband tells me, hope people aren’t forgetting about their animals.

We always have a month supply of feed for all of our animals.

We did buy extra chick feed because I have some chicks and ducklings that are going to hatch soon and I don't want them to be without food.

I'm thinking that we will extend our run for our chickens to double the size that it is now so they will have 1,400 square feet. It'll give them more room to free range during this time plus less mowing for us

We went to go get egg cartons at Walmart and there were none, but tractor supply had a ton so my husband grabbed 12 of them I think. We are down to four or five because I've been giving a lot of eggs out.

Where were you planning on getting chicks. You might be able to buy direct locally.

I rearranged the greenhouse so I can put it in there until needed. We have snow coming.

Things are getting worse right now and I’m sure there will be a lot of misinformation or just plain confusion going on. Crazy times.

Irony of trucks going directly to the stores. Your food is up to two months fresher. I was on the road with my husband for several years, and we picked up a load of shelf stable organic milk. The sell by date was three months away. When it arrives at the grocery store (we delivered to a Walmart distribution), it is down to one month.
