Just whats on my mind and what is causing me anxiety

Just how quickly and willingly people are to give up their rights without question. And the "Learned Helplessness". People are begging for quantines and for entire districts to be shut down. People are allowing martial law to take over willingly

if the government around the world ordered everyone to be chipped and vaccinated, people would beg for it. People rejecting chipping would be rejected by society and reported by friends and family. The people refusing would be dragged off to quarantine camps and society would welcome it

I suspect there could be policies introduced in the coming months. Some that will be permenant even after this thing settles. Rules that they have been trying to enforced but they just needed an emergency to put them foreward.

The best way to protect outselves for the upcoming panic is to not panic. Take necessary actions and be aware of the virus but stop watching and listening to media peices about it, Stop panicking anf letting it consume your mind and obessing over it with everyone

"They want you to be afraid. Don’t let them. This is not the first crisis and will not be the last."

Ive learned from my father, who learned from his father that you can survive on a small patch of forest with nothing more than a steel axe and simple hand tools, Not even toilet paper!

Stay calm, stay healthy and please stay intellegent 🍁

Frankly, that sounds a whole lot more panicky than anything I've read here or in mainstream media to date.

Just got a letter from my employer that allows me to be out and about if we end up having a CURFEW in Milwaukee/Waukesha county. I'm a nurse, Obviously , I won't get to be sitting at home during this pandemic. 😒 At least, I can come home to hug a chicken and I don't need a mask!!🤣

I want to thank you for all you do. My neighbor is a nurse as well. I cannot imagine how stressful that job is. :hugs

Well, tackling one of the oddest cases of "bumblefoot" I have seen or heard described. Its actually quite odd but salt baths seem to be helping. And then praying my one BJG doesn't have a permanent "kink" as she is getting over, I think, her wry neck. Lol, can't watch NECN right now, about to embark for home! You guys get snow this morning?
I found one of my roosters with a string around his legs today. While unwinding it, I noticed he had bumblefoot so I cut it out. Usually he is a jerk, but he was very patient while I took care of him.

Cooking and baking are doing it for me. I swear I've never made so much bread but it's not expensive to do, it's a very pleasant tactile experience, it fills the house with an AWESOME aroma and I don't have to go out and try to find store bread.

If anyone's never done it we could do a bake-along. You may surprise yourself with what you can accomplish.

I've been having a hard time finding flour, did find some Bob's red mill (kinda expensive). Paper products, canned goods and sanitizing products are in very limited supply here. Toilet paper cannot be found anywhere at the moment. I'm finding this all surreal 😱

This is circulating of FB ... Know the people of Molokai are "protesting" at their airports. Right now Molokai is virus free while the rest of the Islands have cases that are "travel related". More cruise ships are wanting to dock here (Big Island) however they are being rerouted to Oahu.

TO: Governor Ige
Mandate quarantine for people arriving in Hawaii

Mandate quarantine for people arriving in Hawaii

We are asking Governor Ige to mandate an immediate 14-day quarantine for all people arriving in the Hawaiian islands.
Why is this important?
Most cases of COVID19 have arrived here by someone traveling. For the safety of the residents, we ask that all people arriving be required to be quarantined for 14 days.

I get mine from my own flock. I have male and female ducks plus male and female chickens.

I am going to order quail eggs soon though. I want pearl quail.
My bad! Shaky fingers!
Bird's was invented by a guy whose wife was allergic to eggs.

For US buyers who can't find it on grocery shelves, you can get it online. And when you get big canister like blackandtan's make yourself a pan of Nanaimo Bars. I think the recipe may be on the container but, if not, there will be recipes to choose from online. :thumbsup
