Did my “spring” cleaning with lots of bleach, my door handles and light switches etc are clean but windows still have nose prints and “bark marks” lol

I take pride in my doggy nose art. It's all over the passenger side window of my car, at the front door, on the windows facing where the squirrel is raiding the bird feeder... (ok the reality is there's no point in cleaning it up, it just reappears within a week anyhow).

I just ordered my veggie seeds.

I do my yearly seed orders in January but was thinking of ordering a few more things, but I guess my preferred site got so slammed with orders that they're shut down for the weekend to restock and clean.

Home Depot and my local nursery and even the grocery store still had a pretty full selection of seeds (not the specific ones I wanted tho).

It's at times like this that a sense of humor is an absolute necessity. :love
I'm about to cull my stock of high end poultry, because folks who are hoarding TP and have seen their 401k crash and businesses destroyed will not be buying local heritige Turkeys at the holidays. Hatchery order canceled. No feed bought, marketing and processing partner lose the income.

This panic will have LONG economy legs, and is not funny.

We didn't shut the economy down for SARS or MERV or NiHI.

Copy and paste all the kool aid you want -- this panic is POLITICAL.

Sorry if I upset you, I was just sharing what made it easier for me to understand.

The unfortunate truth is that everything is being made political. Not something I'm willing to get in to but I have lots of family and friends in the medical field and I now actually know people that are affected by the virus so it's not just through the grapevine information anymore. Hope everyone stays safe no matter their feelings on the subject honestly and I'm really looking forward toilet paper being back in stock!

I would be happy to talk anyone through making bread. We could do a bake-along.

It's not hard and, in fact, it's a very pleasant thing to do. The ingredients are probably in your pantry (OK you might have to order some yeast online), they're inexpensive and I can guarantee you'll be able to eat anything you come up with even if your first loaf isn't something you want to post a photo of online for all to marvel at.

I'm making a 3-day loaf of bread today that I started sprouting wheat berries for days ago.
They do that on the cooking thread, check it out.

No one here believes this virus is a joke or funny. We are trying to remain optimistic in stressful times.

I am sorry your turkey business is being hit hard. You might consider raising them up in hopes the stores don't have any turkeys in the fall. ;)

OK I need to vent. Blame it on cabin fever. So I’m on like day 11 of stay at home. I’ve spoken to the kind folks at the feed store and they will gladly take my order and load it into my car- no touching. I ordered some wine from a kind of local liquor store. I order online, and will load it into my car, no touching. They had to stop delivery because of demand. That’s ok. But I still can’t get yogurt or trash bags without going into the store. All delivery and curbside services at grocery stores AND Walmart have been cancelled. Seriously! The really great news is apparently a distillery has stopped making the really good bourbon and other beneficial spirits and are now making hand sanitizer. Yay! It’s good to know that customer service is still alive and well somewhere.

I just put my second order in. Lots of can goods and a tub of ice-cream.
:barnieWine? Run out? Right now I have 3 bottles of Good Port and 3 bottles of Guiness stout.
