i brought home my 4 pk of TP from the office in addition to some garbage bags and cling wrap.....i figure with the current situation of very little office traffic, we can survive 1-2 more weeks if i don’t score some more tp!! now $$ on the other hand is dangerously low and I doubt we will qualify for any relief funds even if they finally come to an agreement and get checks out.....:fl:fl that some money from a/r or insurance falls from the sky soon or it’s gonna get really scary around here!!

I look at the desserts and gain as I'm looking 😂

Same!!! I don’t know how she doesn’t gain a million pounds!! Or how she has the energy to make so many so frequently!! Or how she manages to eat whole pies every day or few apparently!? Or does she just have 5 pies lying around at once!? So many questions! :lau :th 🙈

I have DUCKS coming in the mail next week!!!!!

:barnie They just pressed my panic button!!!!!
Ya, I'm really surprised that most areas in the US haven't already gotten in front of this and done a "shelter in place" earlier on. I'd have expected by now that they've seen what's happened in Italy, NY, California, etc. and said, "Ya, let's not wait until it gets bad to take action... let's take aggressive action now so we don't end up like those other places!"

A post with some positive news about Corona medicine (serum) that might be ready in a few months.

I can not select and copy the text for google translate. The news is from our national news site: nos.nl

At this news site they write that they found /isolated the enemy of this virus. They ask people who had Corona, and are better now to give blood to develop a serum for the sick. A serum probably wil help the sick, but can not prevent getting sick. It probably will take a few months to test and develop this serum.

This gives hope for the near future!

btw: I don't read every post in this thread anymore because of all the chit-chat thats going on.

But dont think too positive, like the information of this swiss doctor on https://swprs.org/a-swiss-doctor-on-covid-19/
...It leaves out all the trouble in the hospitables to rescue people, the known younger and really sick people, the people with lung damage after having the virus, etc. He is not telling the whole thruth.

I never really usually pay much attention to this stuff anyway but the Boston Marathon here was rescheduled until September and apparently the Kentucky Derby (and I’m sure the other two in the Triple Crown) was also rescheduled. I love watching the horses. :( anybody else have big events cancelled!? I’m sure most of not all events are being cancelled but still. I can deal with a concert or something being rescheduled but major, classic events like these that are always the same time every year and have become such staples in society.... it’s a bit weird to me having them rescheduled. :hmm

I know it’s for the best but still.

@igorsMistress you can make cheesy popcorn with nutritional yeast. Just toss popcorn in butter then toss with nutritional yeast.

I used an air popper... It's family puzzle time

I was laughing when I made this thinking about your kid buying you nutritional yeast instead of actual yeast 😂
