Sooooo while this pandemic brings out the best in some....the he worst remains as well.

My husband drives a company truck for work which means his personal vehicle is parked at the shop overnight while he is on call.
He arrived at the office this morning to find his truck has been stolen.

:woot Human race. :tongue <<sarcasm just so you know.
Let me just say that there are always blessings amongst tragedies, so continue to look towards the blessing... It may not come today or tomorrow or as soon as you want it, but it will come for you.

You guys are in my thoughts right now

I ordered feed online from TSC, picked up at store an hour later. I didn't have to go in. I called from the parking lot, and they rolled it out, and loaded it for me. I signed the invoice outside. I was impressed.

All of us at Tractor Supply are here for you.
March 19, 2020
Dear Neighbor,
With the rapid changes across the nation due to the coronavirus (COVID‐19), I wanted to update you on the proactive steps we are taking at Tractor Supply to serve you, your family and your animals' needs today and in the longer term.

We are adding Team Member hours in our stores to ensure we can provide legendary customer service.
We are adjusting our store hours to ensure our Team Members are available to help you. We continue to be humbled and proud of our Team Members across the country and thank you for the kindness and care you are showing them. Effective Sunday, March 22, our revised hours are:

We are increasing our inventory supply for essential products such as livestock feed, equine feed, pet food, water and propane.
We are extending two weeks of paid leave to our Team Members if they are experiencing any concerning symptoms in order to ensure their health and well‐being as well as yours.
To make shopping easier for you and to ensure your products will be waiting for you when you arrive, our website, TractorSupply.com is enabled with Buy Online Pickup In Store. Once you order, we will have the product waiting for you in an hour, and we can hold it for you for up to 2 days.

I hope you and your family remain safe and well.

I had gotten the same email some time back so was surprised at the lack of....I guess I'd call it urgency and caution here.

It sounds like some stores are stopping reusable bags, putting distancing tape on their floors, and aren't allowing returns/exchanges because of "possible contamination." Are you kidding me? Not sure how much crazier this will get. I don't know how much these measures will help...hard to know.

Can't we just spray with Lysol when you get to our car?

I cannot begin to imagine the hardship on top of everything else. 😳
I'd like to let go a string of curse words towards the thief who stole the truck but I fear I'd get myself banned.

I'm so sorry this happened to you guys.

We are ok. We have other forms of transportation and insurance.
It is more of a "You gotta be kidding me!! Did they not have something better to do?".
I hope hubs can cancel the order for a topper he put in last week.

No worries. Always looking up and not letting stupid stuff beat us down.

On a more serious note...
I've read that some people are making disinfecting wipes.
For each chemical used there is an optimal contact time for that chemical to kill any bugs.
For Hydrogen Peroxide at 3% for example the recommendation is the chemical should remain in contact with a surface for 20 to 30 seconds.
If you are using Chlorhexadine, as a wipe base, this requires a similar contact time.
Whatever you decide to use, check the contact time for that particular chemical.
