My town has gone crazy for being so little like our Walmart was getting bare in good shelf life foods, toilet paper,wipes,hand sanitizer,light bulbs,car antifreeze, crafting kits and video games . I also had a few ppl try to mug me in store or they will try to cough on me,and currently I'm starting to feel under the weather and I'm hoping it isn't covid-19

Five confirmed cases of coronavirus in our rural county of upstate NY 4hrs from the city. And it's a large county Area: 1,467 mi²
Population: 45,001.
From what I heard tonight first death, wife of a guy (he's a confirmed case now, not sure if they are considered in our county because it goes according to where they live) that works where our oldest DD works, Aerospace connector plant that employees around a thousand people, still working because of military contracts. Pretty screwed up apparently they moved all the people that worked with the confirmed case that was in a separate building to the main plant and told them all they were not going to lay anyone off but if they want they can take a unpaid leave of absence... DD and her boyfriend are saying they are going to take it because of course they are scared. I told them to wait till tomorrow and see what their union has to say about it.. Getting even scarier up here..

I'm not going to include a quote here, because it would just add fuel, but I have something to say. Whether our President is doing or has done a great job or a lousy job is beside the point here in BYC. Whatever your viewpoint or opinion, no doubt there are others here who agree with you. There are also others who hold the opposite viewpoint, just as strongly as you hold yours. And we are not going to change each other's opinions. It only takes a spark to get those fires going. Most here have done an admirable job of not rising to the bait, although there are those who insist on stirring the pot. We don't want those sparks to burst into flame here. Please, let's not play the blame game. Let's remember that this is a global forum and America is just one part of the world that's suffering from COVID-19. Frankly, the rest of the world doesn't care what our President says or does, it doesn't affect them. Take the politics elsewhere. This is a chicken forum! Please! And thank you.
