I was on 6 liters of high flow oxygen for a week. My oxygen is usually 99 so when it dropped that low I could barely function. I felt brain dead and delusional. I could even form sentences correctly.

One of the things my ex mother-in-law complained about, when they first returned from living in Japan (military), was that our culture had not adapted to better protecting those around them. Sick people there, would wear a mask, so their coughing, sneezing, etc., would not contaminate those around them. Young, and old alike would do this. It was a common sight, normal, and expected. It bothered her that people here would go in public, without any regard as to contaminating others.

They have a much more communitarian culture. When they have mass events like concerts they leave the stadium as clean as they found it because anyone will pick up or right anything out of place as a matter of common practice.

I'm not sure their way would "fit" the US but there's a LOT about being a part of a culture and not just an individual meeting individual demands that we might think about.

Look, you can't get any face masks these days. Walmart can't help with that. I like shopping at Walmart, the people are very nice, Walmart is a great place. No one can get face masks, I'm just trying to help, and don't appreciate your comment.

Sorry if I offended. My remark was, I thought clearly, not aimed at Walmart employees or shoppers.

I think what you're doing is generous and kind.
