Sorry if I offended. My remark was, I thought clearly, not aimed at Walmart employees or shoppers.

I think what you're doing is generous and kind.

I have a different opinion of the company. I'm not sure why that's surprising or offensive but I hope you'll have a good day and ignore me if you care to.
I understand. Just because the people there are great doesn't mean their bosses or people higher up are. You have a good day too!

I have an appt. for a PET scan (like an xray) It's in an office next door to a hospital. Do I go? Do I wear a mask?

How essential is it? Can it merely be postponed? Why not call the office and ask what sanitary measures they've put in place and what recommendations they'd have for how you could protect yourself best if you elect to keep the appointment now?

I'd go if the hospital is taking precautions. Wear a mask and make sure to bring hand sanitizer.

I went to a hospital last week and so far I'm okay. I'm not worried because they made sure I was in good hands.

Most hospitals don't have through traffic like visitors. It's usually just Drs and nurses. The ER is where Covid 19 people go usually. Then they go to icu.

Well, considering they literally locked people in their houses and shut everything down, unlike the rest of the world, it's possible I suppose. I don't believe them either though. I read a timeline of events and China tried to keep it all under wraps until it had already spread to the almost the rest of the world, even though doctors in that country were sounding the alarm.

You're talking about a country which forcibly performed abortions on women who already had a child. Putting everyone temporarily under house arrest for a virus pales in comparison, I think. ..and I say that as someone who supports individuals' right to make that decision but finds subjecting anyone to it against their will horrific.

I was thinking the same thing...At my office we had an employee who was Japanese and she wore a mask to work once because she had a cold. She was told not to wear a mask, it scares people

Hubs boss and his wife are over 70. They went to get groceries....no masks on them cause they don't understand how real it can be.....
They left without shopping because the folks wearing masks made her uneasy.....not because there is a potentially painful and deadly virus but because the masks....
🤨

I think I will deal with minor annoyance at a toasty mask rather than a giant bill from the ICU and the pain this virus can cause physically. Just sayin.

I gave hubs all my "one size fits all" gloves from my shop and he is using masks. Even if those around him choose to risk it.
