They can last 2000+ if they were stored in an Egyptian pyramid lol (read A LOT of national geographic when I was a kid)I'm interested in knowing that too. I threw away my old seeds because I heard they're no good after a year. The package even says they expire after a year.
Seriously though, if you’re not sure about your seeds vitality, open the packet, take out ten and try to germinate them (according to the directions on the individual pack). Be a bit more generous with the time till germination cause they may take a few extra days. When the time is up count how many sprouted and multiply by 100, that will give you your percentage of viability. It’s a super easy way to tell if they’re still good and worth planting
