Try working in a surgical mask for 9 hrs a day, all the while being semi allergic to whatever they are made of. When I mean working, I mean actually exert yourself, then let me know how you feel about wearing them.
I work at the hospital and have no choice in the matter, we are not allowed to wear the homemade ones. My face has bumps some of which I have scratched until they have bled.

I would give anything to be able to wear a soft cotton homemade mask to go shopping in. But I can't and even when I am home and around my husband I have to wear that nasty mask to protect him.
So to all those complaining you can't get surgical masks, Be happy you don't really need them or have to wear them while you work.
I wore one for 4 hours in town today, I know exactly what you mean!!!

Yeah, 65 feet seems super wide.... how wide are most roads? Nowhere near that wide right?

And :lau I probably don’t need them anyway but I’m a bit weird and like them 😂

The fish one I only just started taking the other day but could probably stop. Thought it’d be good.

I actually used to not take any but it’s built up to all these recently.

I heard from someone and from my own research that 400 mg each of riboflavin and magnesium help with migraines so I started taking them in the fall maybe or summer and they do seem to help but then I stopped taking them for a while. Recently started again sometime this year. Then a few months ago my mom got a bunch of the gummy B12 ones at work so I figured I’d take them and use them. Then like a month or two ago I decided I should probably take a multivitamin since I’m taking the other ones and bought that one.

I am probably doing more harm than good with all these though.

But, and maybe it’s placebo, but I do seem to have more energy or feel better or whatever after but

It’s probably way too many though especially considering I’m mostly healthy and young.
WHAT! You went and got your cholesterol levels and sugar stuff checked and didn't tell me.

Girlfriend...you think you are healthy. You have no clue.

I'm pretty enterprising. Maybe I can come up with something that will be comfortable, yet accepted as surgical. Maybe.

That's so sweet, I have been thinking about trying to cut something to fit the inside of the mask and attach it in a way that it would be removable so I could use it when I change out my mask each day, yes we are only given one mask a day and they are now talking about us using them for several days.

It's the worst when you're having a reaction like that too. Sounds like maybe you're allergic? I wonder if you took a zyrtec you might not have that reaction. It works better for me than benadryl.
