Just you!! :lau 🤧 🤭

🤨 I got really sick....the diabetes was taking a toll on my entire body. My kidneys, vision, liver, skin everything. Literally shutting down.
I had been to go he doctors A LOT asking for help. Not once did they put 2 & 2 together and run an A1C. I found it after a lab found my hubs. Yeah it is a long story.
I'm glad you found out though.

I hate to change the subject but I moved here a year ago and my property is clay. It's awful. So we built some raised boxes to grow stuff. Then I ordered 3 yards of "garden mix" dirt which is supposed to be 60% soil (not clay), 20% sand, and 20% compost.

I go out today and the box I planted had a thick layer of crust on top. I water and the water takes forever to drain. And if I plant seeds they will never be able to push thru this crust. They also said it would be screened and OMG! there's a lot of sticks and stuff in it. I can't see any sand or compost. But the worst is I will not be able to plant seeds in there and expect them to break thru the crust. I just want to cry. Does this sound like garden mix?

I got dirt like that once. I ended up adding a ton of bagged cow manure, leaves, and bagged potting mix before anything would grow.

I get a crust with compost. Maybe you need turn it over and work it in.

I've always avoided touching tables, chairs, etc as much as possible eating out. I know restaurant staff only do the most basic wipe down of tables! I keep my hands in my lap and when food comes, I don't rest my arms against the table.

Meanwhile my hubby puts his hands and arms everywhere (and gets sauce all over his sleeve). He's always got his hands on the table. It's such a hard habit to break him of! I tell him I won't touch his hands until he goes and washes them. He used to roll his eyes at me for saying that. Nowadays he doesn't complain and goes and washes up without being asked, so that's like his one concession.

I understand the worry about it jumping again. I think study of the animals is important too though. It would be good to know if they CAN get it and then IF they can transmit it.
Apparently a Tiger and some other big cats were exposed to a keeper who was asymptomatic, and they got sick.

USPO is wanting a bailout, get out of here, with all the online delivery mail right now business should be booming.

Most of it isn't being delievered via USPS though. I've gotten very little mail since this all began. Normally the mail delivery barely makes it by the time I walk the dogs/get the mail, but now, I see the mailman done with our segment of the route well in advance. So there does seem to be a drop in volume, at least where I'm at.

Napkins will plug up the sewer line though. So will paper towels

Trash can next to the toilet does the trick!
