Do any of y'all realize just how many hospitals we have here in Houston?
A million.
$11 MILLION dollars for 250 just in case patients.
NOT ONE mention of any of our million hospitals being crowded yet.

We don't want to be caught flat-footed' | $11 million NRG medical shelter is ready for up to 250 patients
It's not active, but if the time comes, the shelter will handle overflow from hospitals throughout the Houston area

NYC hospitals have been flooded, their workers tired, military has brought in many workers to help, they need it. Emergency hospitals, tent hospitals haven't needed to be used thank goodness, the Naval hospital ship Comfort hasn't hardly even been used. Things are getting better. Hopefully the trend continues...

Nah, you didn’t miss anything! I just never mentioned it here. My bad.

Anyway, I’m not really sure but I think the girls beat up on him. either that or he injured it jumping off the roost but he sleeps on the lowest roost so

But he’s been limping for a few days but seemed okay so I figured it would heal. Today he was limping really bad and holding it up a ton and barely left the coop. He did finally come up and free range a bit but just was not himself. Usually he’s crowing and trying to mate all the girls and very active and today he was just hobbling around a lot and laying down some

He can put weight on it so I don’t think it’s broken but prefers not to.

ANYWAY.

I put him in the other pen&coop which is a lot smaller and lower to the ground (no ramp) and has no roost so he doesn’t reinjure it so hopefully he heals up. otherwise I’m gonna have to crate him next and he won’t like that.

I thought you mentioned RED before?

Spent most of the day in the garden. I tidied up one of my compost piles and started a new one. Lots of weeding. I found some begonias coming back under piles of dried up stems from last year. My hellebores are blossoming madly true to their Lenten Rose popular name. For the first time in the 15 years or so I've been trying to grow peonies in SoCal, I've got two buds!!!!! I've got a second peonie plant that has twice as much foliage but it's planted too deep or too shallow and won't bloom until I figure that out and correct it.

It's in front of an apple tree that's pushing out its first blossoms but there's only a single tiny one visible on the left in this picture.

My 3 favorite sounds when I'm gardening are my chickens and my neighbor's chickens talking to one another, kids playing and church bells. I got the first 2. Don't know why the Catholic church just a few yards away didn't ring their bells for Easter. I know they're not holding services but I thought they might have rung the bells for such a special occasion.

Okay will do!! Although I picked him up and checked him out when I moved him and none of his legs felt swollen or hot or anything and I didn’t see any bumbles on his feet or any obvious injuries, so I’m hoping he just sprained it or something.

He’s kind of an a hole to the girls and they come to each other’s defense so I’m sure they just told him off a bit too hard

I hope he recovers.

Unz is ran by and owned by the Alt-Right in the USA...

Nahh, I haven’t really been to many others lately.

I mentioned him here yesterday or the other day I think but only briefly and that was the first time I have. Never mentioned his injury though as that’s fairly new.
