That was my hope, too. But I believe I will have horses again someday. This is not good horse country, IMO. If I had horses, I would not enjoy them like I did in NM. For now, my sweet memories suffice.

If I may ask, where are you now? NM? Did you ever go to the Nationals in Albuquerque? We left So Cal so I could keep my horses. My husband complains a lot, but he is all talk. He is so supportive.

No, I am in SE MO. It is very humid here, lots of forest, no wide-open spaces for riding, not much public land, and ..... ticks! 😔The forest is beautiful, but moss grows everywhere, the trees are covered with it, so allergies are an issue year-round. And .... ticks! 😟 Yes, I did go to nationals as a spectator. I got to meet Bask Elect, and Molly even let me in to pet him! :love I think it was the highlight of my life!

Well....it is refill the meds time soon.
I called the pharmacy....they said the one isn't due til next month....Um YEAH. I knew THAT!
Gave me a hassle about filling it 2 weeks early. WTHeck!
Wasn't there something passed saying for us old folks to get our meds even if we are a bit early and the pharmacy is to fill them...insurance? Yeah we don't have any. So it is not because of insurance.

Hubs has a phone visit with the doctor scheduled for Wednesday. I am curious what THAT is gonna cost.

Has anybody here ever had to de-skunk a cat? Gracie, our Sheltie, is skunk-proof, but our cat apparently did not get the memo that skunks on the property are not to be molested. 🙄. She is old enough to know better, too. Fortunately, DD is an amazing cat whisperer and was perfectly willing to deal with the problem, especially since I was up to my elbows in meat loaf. Bless her heart, and I mean that in the best way! Cat is now drying off and recovering her dignity on a mattress warmer on DD's bed. DD suffered no injuries, that's how good she is! 😀
