Well we see what it got me. I didn't even know it was closet and basement cleaning day!

So the roast turned out ok, just a little dry. @featherhead007 it was a 7 1/2 pounder so pretty sure a rooster. So, you could say I really DO love roosters.
I love them roasted, baked, sauteed, fried, and most of all... bbq'ed!!

Ok, now that you have come to from passing out, I thought I'd be nice and share... (no, not the bird)
Rather my love for roses. Know how you let Blu scratch you all up because you have a love/hate thing going on with him? Well, I'm just as bad with my roses. I love English and antique climbers and today was trimming and training day (fastening new growth to supports) and let me tell you... I look like I got the losing end of an altercation with a bobcat! But, oh I love them so. One rose is just starting to open and every 5 minutes (ok..2 minutes) I had my nose in it inhaling that wonderful real rose scent.
There are hundreds of little buds out there on the roses growing up my front porch just waiting for the next warm spell to open and share their wonderful goodness. I can't wait!!

I kissed one of my chicks and the next day I was really ill. I thought I got salmonella come to find out I had sepsis and pneumonia. I even told the ER I kissed my chick they about peed laughing because they know me well.

I've said that EXACT last sentence to @KDOGG331 months ago and I don't get it either. I try to encourage and support not tear down or criticize.

She's a really good person with a very good heart. It's her life to do as she pleases.

Yes, cheesecake!!! I’ve never made it before but it can’t be too hard, right!? Maybe some brownies too!? real ones!!! And I’ll bake up everybody’s favorite cookies too and we can all get fat on desserts and sit outside and watch the chickens run around the yard or sit and play with the little chicks. Maybe chase some chickens afterwards to burn off the desserts
