Me too!! Lmao I even had some Coke which I haven’t had in sooooo long. 😂🤣🙈 and same!! I don’t eat vegan but I eat carpy and then next day it’s tons of vegetables and nothing bad 😂🤣
I'll be eating better tomorrow. I'm going to be working a lot at the farm around 1. I have grapes to plant and a nannyberry bush. Plus I'm planting rose bushes with my chickens so they have nice shade bushes.

I have to keep busy or my mental state will plummet since I can't do much except got to TSC 😂 and I already bought too many chicks today.

Haven't lost any on the market, never had a money to buy stock. Also never buy things I don't understand. My grandfather played the market a million years ago and he went bankrupt many times and just came back and did it again. Somehoe they did had a nice house across from us in Chicago. When he passed, grandma moved in with us. I loved my grandma.
She had a stroke and died in hospital right before we would have moved into the present home. Maybe for the best - the house is a bi level and the stairs would have been terrible for her.

Yeah me too haha vegetables and stuff 😂🤣

And nice!! I’ll probably be working outside too if the weather cooperates. Today was really nice and I spent basically the entire afternoon outside but I didn’t really actually do too much because I was with the dogs for a few of those hours :lau did go for a walk with one of them though haha

I totally understand that!! It was really nice to be able to spend so much time outside in the sun today and also see the dogs and go for a walk, etc. I also went to sleep earlier too and I feel much better today than other days haha we had so much crappy rain and clouds for a few days so nice to see the sun. It was like 70 today. :lau

What kind did you get?

New to backyard chickens. I think my family may have had it in early february. My husband who never gets sick, was worse than me. Coughing for almost 3 weeks. Said he felt like he was drowning and problems catching his breath. It was so bad he went to the doctor! U know its bad when men go 🤣. Of course we didnt think coronavirus then and dr gave him cough medicine and toughed it out. Things have been a little hard but we are staying home as not to put more pressure on the healthcare system.

On a fun note, While were on stay at home orders i have decided to put eggs under a broody hen. Its day 11. Im so excited...and i know my dogs love having us home all day.
Attagal! Make it a positive! I think we had it back in Jan/Feb, too. I had to stop mid-stairway to catch my breath and then use the railings to pull myself the rest of the way up. "Drowning" while trying to breathe sounds about right, too. That's a VERY good way to describe it!
I really think a lot of people in my county must have had it around the same time. We had a LOT of kids/teachers/support staff out of school with "flu" and pneumonia. And now that every cough is being counted and more people tested, my county's numbers are below the state's. I'm hoping that means that we've already toughed our way through most of it ... fingers crossed!
Stay safe, enjoy your egglets and WASH YOUR HANDS AGAIN!
Oh ... and WELCOME to BYC ... I think you'll like it, here!

But for many the damage is done and recovery of the economics might not be fast enough.
That'd be me, for sure. Nobody's going to hire someone my age, and if this takes as long or longer than the tech-stock crash took to recover ... I'll never get back to where I need to be to retire. I guess quarantine IS my retirement!

Okay - after 11 pm here, and I am once again caught up ... so I'll sign off with a smile ...
We have two brand new Nankin babies, tonight. That gives us seven, so far this Spring - a good count, since RC's have a notoriously poor hatch rate. Now ... if at least three or four (maybe more? Please?) are pullets, there's hope for our dwindling flock. I LOVE my bachelor flock ... but NINE boys out of twelve, last season? NOOOO, NOT AGAIN, PLEASE!
G'Night All ! Catch you on the flip side!
