I don't think so lol. I usually do it on warm days and they love it. Mine leave just a paper thin skin behind.

They'll do the same if you don't freeze it, too. A frozen one does sound nice on a hot day. ... but I don't know .... they usually get our leftovers, not a whole melon! Maybe I'll try that this year.

I think the store shortages in some areas is because people aren't eating out and trying to buy everything from a store. The stores and the suppliers are set up for so much being bought every day and now 3x as much is being bought.
The major meat processors are shutting down for a few weeks because of virus outbreak. The farmer are getting rid of animals that the processor can't take. The farmers need to make room for the new animals coming in. 400 lb pig is being sold for as cheap as $50 and people are trying to get them processed... So the little processors are flooded with locals who normally wouldn't be bringing anything in

I completely agree! Many variables. Here they shut the large meat processor (JBS Plant) for only a week, I expect minimal disruption from such short closures.

I have held off getting a couple of pigs for the exact reason you state. I don't want to risk having to slaughter it myself, which I wouldn't know the first thing about. Birds are much easier and require less infrastructure! Plus Fall is when the hunters generally fill the processors up.

Mine did. They were fine until later high school when I could not see the same things I used to see just fine. A pair of glasses fixed me right up and a few years later I switched to contacts.

Milles and Polish are on my desire list, but right now I'm not set up for them. It's a newer to me place and a work in progress. However when I'm ready I'll contact you for eggs. :)
Thanks!!! That’s good to know!! I’ll have to ask haha

I get the little personal sized ones and put them in the freezer. I usually buy 4 or 5 of them and eat a few myself then the chickens get the others.

Unexpected hiccup here due to the virus a 15lb weight gain due to a candy addiction.
I think anyway, maybe more batteries in the scale quit and im not replacing them any time soon.:p
Only time I stand on a scale, is when I'm holding a chicken, then I just subtract my weight, and Wa La! I know how much the bird weighs. :D
