I’m into older vehicles so I never buy new. I’d buy a Mach 1 though if we are talking about spending money.
My cousin back in '95 graduated and bought a 1971 mach 1, not the most sought after, but super cool loved it, think he paid $1,200 for it and was in a nicer shape than my '80 Camaro t-top (I paid $500 for it, one owner 350 4barrel, rust free never drove in winter, but interior pretty ratty and well abused). We used to tune them, set the timing, race around, our uncle would butt in and think his car was cool too, we called it his Barbie car 😆, early '80s Fiero, actually cool car but we picked on it cause it wasn't a 'muscle car' ours really were not either, not from the 60's when you had real HP!

I'm not getting thinner over all this!
I may go to work next week, first time since early March. On one hand, I want to go, and yet it's scary out there! I'm very nervous about it...

Understandable. Our church is holding services for the third time this week. It's a small, elderly group, averaging about 12 people in the 60 - 80's age range on a good day. We're not going. I just don't think I'll be ready to venture out until there's a vaccine. Especially with this new thing going on that's affecting kids. We're raising grandkids. I just don't feel safe.

My first DH had a '57 Chevy. I didn't appreciate it at the time.... I wanted a VW Beetle. (ducks)

I had someone come to pickup poults today without a mask. I had my mask on and when she started smirking I coughed. Her look changed and she was quick to get out of here. :gig

DH does grocery shopping once a week. He wears a mask. He has allergies and coughs a lot, so I'm sure people stay away from him. 😉

I'll be working with a small group, wearing a mask, and no outside folks coming inside. As safe as possible, I hope. So far no illness reported there, not that it's a sure thing anyway. I can cancel any time, and will if numbers go up (and I think it's likely).
Muscle cares have never been my thing! Horses, yes, and cars, no. :p

A) fan of Dave Ramsey's economic POV B) I'm an old skool Subie fanatic and an even older school Pentastar fan.
Specifically 85-92 XT, XT6, or the GL-10 Dual range turbo wagon. And then the '69 Charger or superbirds.
The first car I bought was a '80 Camaro t-top, loved that car but when I bought it needed a transmission, so not the first I drove I did get one for it and had a lot of fun with it but first car I bought after it and drove and never let me down fell in love with 😆 1983 Subaru GL wagon, real 4x4 , high and low range. I ended up owning several after. Second favorite '84 Brat t-top also 😆. I took those buggers on so many 4x4 trails, full size trucks could not keep up with me 😆 more than many times ...
'83,'84'85,'86auto, first auto, '87,'88, '93 Justy front wheel drive, and then last just recently not long ago, six seven yrs maybe? '93 wagon awd auto but had a 50/50 option for 4x4, pushed snow with that one also. Pretty funny when I bought that last one. Our garage burned lost two vehicles only saved my plow truck. Looking for vehicle, stopped at a junk yard dealership, not much to pick from, asked DW, what do you think? She said pick what you want...dude there kept trying to sell me big vehicles, nah..i want that '93 Subaru with only 99,000 miles and already has studded snow tires, I'm good with that. After I bought it I heard Dw tell the kids, I told u dad would buy the ugliest car here.. 😆, best shape and had the lowest miles for the lowest price, $1,200, drove it for several yrs..
Two of my favorite old Subaru vids, first I never had a turbo but super cool vid, and a Brumby Australian version of the Brat,

Love this one also, pretty funny and looks just like my Brat same color and about how I acted back then 😆

This is what the rear looked like ... Ain't that sweet?!

And this was the incredible turquoise (aqua) color. My "baby" only had it in the interior - but there was a LOT of aqua in there! She could have been SO purty. I hope that somewhere, today, she still is!

Only bodystyle I like on the Tbirds. Saw a '58 at our local dollar store, waited till the couple came out and said, dang thats a nice car, never liked the Tbirds till I saw yours, he said also only body style he liked. Waited till he started it and drove off, love that sound. His was black and chrome.
