I am in an unusually lousy mood. Can I blame it on the Coronavirus ? Nah, it's just me. Maybe my age is catching up to me, and I will become a grouchy old man.
I think we're ALL a bit grouchy, these days ... at least at my house. Here, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Spring finally being in the air and our not being able to do anything or go anywhere beyond our own yards. I HATE this!
On top of all that, there's a wildfire burning in New Jersey - thousands of acres in a wildlife management area. It's nearly under control, now, but we can definitely smell it very strongly, today. I'm in Maryland. The fire is well over a hundred miles away, but a quick step outside is all it takes to remember it's there.
So, I'll say my prayers for those who are involved - and for those of us who, blessedly, are not - and keep plugging on. I'm making flag masks tonight for Memorial Day. I just hope I don't have to dig out my Halloween ... or Christmas ... fabric for them, next!

I'm not getting thinner over all this!
I may go to work next week, first time since early March. On one hand, I want to go, and yet it's scary out there! I'm very nervous about it...

Scary part are those who can’t act mature and are going to be stupid about it all. People are going to paint the town red and not in a good way

Is your job something that doesn't require face to face contact with the public at least?

Hubby keeps saying he wants to go to the office but the funny thing that's convincing him to stay home is he doesn't want to pay for parking!
