Hey amazon just delivered today... they’ve never delivered here with their fancy delivery vans. It’s usually ups. My old redneck town must’ve been bumped up on the list because all of us shop online 😂
Hmm...moving up in the world. Wonder if there are any blue vans over my way...

That’s amazing! I wonder how my new pillow will be delivered hahah

@MROO has it right! A training session during the fearful event is a good plan. Then praising positive behaviors during the practice time, and the distraction training provides.
That likely doesn't include trying to ride that horse when he's hypervigilant out there...

Anyone else becoming more eco friendly in their homes. We have become more aware of what we are using like those nasty dish sponges that start to stink (no we don’t have a dishwasher unless you include the people with two hands in this house). We bought silicone sponges, I’m already loving them. We have been using way less toilet paper maybe because for a month we thought we would never see any again.

Yeah, no. I know my boy.....He'd likely clamp his teeth shut and be like No! 🤨

He does draw a tiny bit of comfort if I let him know I'm near by (if it's not pouring rain) and is aware of me. But he does not like me to be close, as if he's trying to keep us (myself and the burro) out of harms way.
He's conked out in the barn right now, long after his normal 9:30 morning nap, so I'm guessing he was tree watching all night, because we had some quick storms roll through, and is exhausted.

Don't know about more, but we've been this way for many years now. Some stems from kiddo's allergies and having to use safe cleaners and such, the rest came from learning about our own carbon footprint and such.

I like the silicone sponges too, though it's hard to get them into tight corners and small spaces. I love the fact that I can put them through the dishwasher. I've never liked using sponges for very long and have always felt they were little bacteria breeding beds. Even after putting them through the washing, machine repeatedly.

Actually have 2 or 3 extra silicone sponges around and use them for sewing and quilting to sweep up threads and fuzz. They excel as hair and fuzz brushes.

I got sponges and after a day or two they’d smell. I’ve always used that kind but now I’m stuck on the silicone one. I used it once today and now I’m hooked
