She was always a fussy eater and I had a hard time putting weight on her as a puppy. She finally agreed to eat beneful, but at about a year and a half occasionally would throw a seizure. We switched her to Blue Buffalo lamb and rice and that helped, but she had dry skin. We now have her on Taste of the Wild which I believe actually is buffalo based.
We have used that food. My puggle is picky too. She prefers home cooked meals
I’ve actually heard of other dogs getting seizures and a few even dying from Beneful so it very well could have been the food. I haven’t heard it from their other varieties or brands or whatever, just that one.
We do purina one smart blend. I don’t think I’ve used beneful
Yeah we used to feed Gator that one sometimes but we rotated haha the cat I think is on the Purina sensitive stomach. The dog I think got a tiny bag of beneful one time. Maybe not enough to cause problems.
We use the same thing. So far, so good!
