That's the truth!I not as think as you drunk I am.
At 16k plus posts it's a wonder we can even remember our own names some days.
In the last 12 months. All Our dogs are rescued; they have had a geriatric group that are now... Almost all gone. Beau-beau last fall (he was easily 11+); Curry 2 weeks ago (he was 12+); Sandy last week (she was 12+). Buried Curry and Sandy right next to Beau-beau. Let the other dogs sniff them as we put them in the grave.I had to put down one of my own dogs not long ago at the vet. It’s quick. You never realize how quick it goes.
One of our grocery store chains in St. Louis has been running ads about masks and social distancing but also ask people to designate a single family member to do the grocery shopping. That's the truth!
Happy report: at Walmart today, nearly everyone was masked up. I would say about 80-85% of people were. As opposed to, in the last month, whenever I have gone, I feel as though I am the only one wearing one. My DD is happy to wear one bc she feels she looks good in one!Works for me. My boy just stays home bc he does not like them. That works for me, too. Not sure how well that's going to work with the whole back to school thing, though.

Vet took both the little boys back in the back to put them to sleep. Sandy, well she was just to big. ~72lbs Irish wolfhound/lab mix. She passed away in my arms. It was fast and she was relaxed. I cried like a kid who just banged their pinky toe on the leg of a table.
Hopefully Saydie-Brin, our silver doodle has at least another year or more in her.
2020 has been a undeniable and overwhelming change to keep my "head above water."
There is curbside pickup for virtually everything here now. Most of the grocery store chains, hardware stores, places like Target, computer stores and even industrial supply houses like Grainger. Most of the shoppers I see in grocery stores are personal shoppers like Instacart, Peapod and Fresh Direct. Everyone pushing a cart while staring at their smart phone while they peruse the shelves. That's probably half the shoppers at our primary grocery chain. I went to Whole Foods last week and perhaps 70% were Personal Shoppers. For a little while here, mask usage was about 50-50 pretty much all across the board. This weekend we went back up to 90+% wearing masks; I think everyone's pretty spooked both by the state of everything down south in Florida and Arizona, as well as the massive incoming student body for school in the Fall.
Is grocery pick-up available where you guys live? It is an absolute lifesaver for my husband and I, and (at least for the time being) there's no fee for it!
Our numbers are fairly low, but climbing. One of our grocery store chains in St. Louis has been running ads about masks and social distancing but also ask people to designate a single family member to do the grocery shopping.
How are your counties down there? We are starting to spike again in the city and neighboring counties.
It's available but not awesome. They are usually out of more than half of our order and want to do substitutions. So we'd rather go and see what IS available so we can pick our own subs or decide to try another store or do without for another week. For a little while here, mask usage was about 50-50 pretty much all across the board.
