Dandelion roots? What does DD do with dried dandelion roots? I'm curious!
When dried it's a great team and it's also seen as a good detox for the liver/kidneys from eastern medicine...
Oh and dried root was over $26 /lb at the farmers market - when I saw it last year.

Finally giving the hens their extended "free range" in our fenced in small (inner) back yard.

I wanted something to see, experience that was "good" after my cautiously optimistic view yesterday lunchtime was deflated last night when I got back to check on them and find the silkie chickie that seemed to have stabilized had gotten a lot worse and another of the chicks was starting to show a hint of a wabble while walking around by late.(nearly midnight?) I posted in the silkie tag team thread....

Well woke this morning early thinking I'll get ahead of the game with both the Chickie's.... Nope. They both passed in their sleep by the looks of it all.

So back to the "good" here's the girls leasurely exploring the yard for their 3rd outing....

:hugs:hugsI'm so sorry!
yes as a new leader I got the girls overlooked after the veteran leaders handpicked from the newbies. I even had to scrounge to find my own meeting place. My daughter liked it for 3 years, then went to 4H with some friends. I like that organization much better
I started girl scouts but got very bored doing crafts and girly sewing things fast. I sold a ton of cookies because at least then I could be outdoors, but soon as I learned that would be all I could do (sell or be girly) I got out fast. Thankfully by that time I was old enough for 4-H and loved showing beef cattle and worked up through the levels (in my division) quickly.
Add that I did all the boy activities at summer camps and somehow I survived my brush with girl scouts.

I fed into the whole Boy Scout nonsense. I can't help it - my whole family has lived and breathed Scouting for years. At least I stayed on the positive side! :)

Oh - and for the record ... I don't DO "goose." We're strictly chicken people here ... no gooses or dux for us ... at least not at the moment! :lau
No goose, got it.
Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!!
...um, silly quailie??
...goofy pup?

Actually I enjoyed reading about boy scouts. I was not allowed to join when I was younger and never knew much about it.

Oh... ya it’s by specific patterns. I get them on Monday.
Different subject, but did you get the ballot app from Richmond in the mail? I was surprised one came in the mail the other day. The county register place is closed to the public but requesting online is easy. Having the app come in the mail saved me an extra step because I was planning to vote absentee anyway as our polling place is just tiny.
