We went out today to get dog food - we get two 30lb bags at a time so we only go once every couple of months. Between this trip and the last our oldest dog turned 13, so we took her out on this trip to pick out some toys and snacks. Normally we'd go out on the day of, but we're trying to keep trips to a bare minimum still whenever possible so it's substantially belated.
We came home with a dog-safe "whoopie pie" amongst some other things. She didn't pick out a single toy and didn't even want the squeaky tennis balls we got her very much. But I have a video of her having her birthday snack.

Cronch.

We usually do ice cream at the local place because they have a dog ice cream or we do a nice cut of meat.

God I am as old as dirt...I remember when that commercial ran for real. Also remember the Moroboro man, Santa riding the floating heads from a Schick electric razor down a snowy hill.
And Tang commercials.

God I miss the good old days!

I love Tang. A little too much. I only use it when I need extra calories like on long backpacking/hiking/cycling trips!

I.... Actually can't remember the last commercial I watched/listened through to the end.

Maybe the Yaris commercials from way back when it was brand new?
Or like... I guess I sometimes watch video game trailers on purpose.....

Nobody in my household watches "tv", never had cable, we just go to netflix or youtube.

Even YouTube has ads now and some you can’t skip anymore

The razor ads all touted "Noelco!" It was hysterical! And did you know that the Marlboro man died of lung cancer and his wife sued the company for forcing him to smoke multiple packs a day? She LOST and had to pay Marlboro's court costs ... and still lost her husband.

You and I must have been playing in the same mud puddle as kids! But that's okay, because we also got to watch Paul Lynde on the old Hollywood Squares ... which was a giggly "guilty" joy that today's video & super-graphic movie watchers will never know the equivalent of ...

Oh, well FYI it might come in the mail on it's own. I was just curious if you got one too because I doubt my county is ahead of the game. I nearly tossed it as junk mail, but it seems legit.

I DID toss my first one this past election, thinking it was junk mail. I had to get a new one - what a mess! Please, everybody, if you want your vote to count and can't get to the polls make sure you ID that ballot and send it in. I don't think my little town is even planning to set up the polls. It may be all mail-in or drop-off. Zheesh!
