I was not offended. I don’t get people refusing and saying they have health conditions. Even people I know with other lung conditions wear their masks... it seems like most of the people acting a fool over it are the healthy people.

Healthy physically - mentally/emotionally/morally questionable otherwise.

The testimony by the new (with zero postal service experience) postmaster testimony before the senate that just began (9:00 AM ET) should be interesting.
If he tries to say decommissioning the sorting machines was a cost saving measure - well, it costs taxpayers money to do so.
It is only being carried on MSNBC right now but a senate hearing is supposed to be on CSPAN1 later.
CNN and FOX aren't currently carrying it.

I know this has been brought up but this is striking if anyone missed it.

Yeah it takes a certain kind of stupid I just got back from vacation and most people in NC wear masks with zero questions.

Stupid because you just don't really know all the things the Post Office does. The unenlightened may think of post cards, letters, junk mail and packages.
A person with zero postal service experience may not know that the USPS is one of the few entities that accepts, ships and delivers all sorts of live animals and their timely delivery is paramount.
Bees and other insects, birds of all ages and species, reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, etc..
I wonder if any extremely valuable exotic birds have died due to delays.

Lots of losses all around. I’d hate to be a hatchery right now I’m sure there’s not much profit when everything is dying and they have to replace them... which I’m sure that never ends well either when the mail is so late
