Oh. Good. Heavens! Flip the > arrow on the viewscreen and you get our lives in a nutshell. The faster you click, the faster the screens swap ... and the more true-to-life it gets! Leave it to Bugs to sum it all up ... Ya gotta love him!
Here's how I found it and several others....
BTW, the batman one is an adorable punchline.

I'd love to!!!! Can you link me to the right thread, please? And we're definitely hanging in there. The chooks have all kind of natural jungle gym equipment now so they're absolutely thriving in the chaos.... lol!

But, if you wander around the forums sub folders you run across several "state and country" specific threads and many other funny pages as well.

Cheers

Who wants you to be scared? What does keeping you afraid accomplish for anyone? What does not being scared accomplish except for further spreading the virus?

I guess that what some interpret as scared I view as intelligent. Everyone should have a basic course in disease transmission. The last person who asked if I was scared is now in the throes of Covid as I type.

Ummm .... I may regret this ... but ... SURE!
@MROO
I'm generally not a blog reader, but I will click free patterns like nobody's business...which usually ends up at a blog. I haven't even made it over to YT yet, but here a few places with lots of goodies...

If you hover over Free Sewing Patterns at the top, all kinds of fun folders drop down, and each area has a lot of fun things.

And here is a hot rice pad big enough for shoulders.

Feed sack crafts-

I'll try and find the video, but I made quite a few feed sack tote bags because I normally shop at Aldis, and boy, you can hold a lot of groceries with them and they are Great!! Also good for Sam's Club/Costco, or anywhere you need a bigger tote with some oomph power.

She is linked with BrambleBerry, which sells ingredients, but many of the recipes can be made from items you already have around the house.

Same with The Nerdy Farmwife. Many things can be made with what you already have on hand. She used to have a lot of free recipes here and if you are looking for a good book, I have hers and can recommend it for people who may not do this a lot, like me... I make stuff for us and for gifts. I don't sell anything

...more to come..

I agree 100%. I doubt many people remember basic health class from high school, but virus transmission is pretty common sense. Some of the vectors may change from one virus to another, but it ain't rocket science.

The sad part is so much is readily available out there from reputable places like local hospitals, medical programs, universities, health departments, the CDC.... non-media or non-political sources... All it takes is a click or two and a few minutes to read.

I have to agree that it doesn't work, I live in a small town of around 2200 people. Of those 2200, about 100 people have gotten covid, myself included. When contacted by public health, it was simple. I had been around 10 people. My DH, DD, DS 2 grandkids and 5 co-workers, all of which tested neg. So go ahead and tell me where I got it from, Because I have no clue and public health told me that most people here don't know where they got it from. So if they can't figure out where I got it from out of the 100 that have it, how do you expect them to figure it out when in the bigger cities 1000's have it?
Exactly.

@MROO
Remember, you asked for it....

Though Laura does quilting some weeks, she also has a lot of good videos for all kinds of projects.

Easy organizer hacks. I made the boxes with the tp tubes inside, and they are next to my sewing machines. Easy peasy!

And though I changed things a bit to suit me, here is the video I used for the idea for the feed sack totes. They also make great grow bags too.

63,000 people in my city, ~3500 covid cases.
I think much depends on prevailing attitudes...
3 cities within 90 minutes of me, in TN, are all on the top 20 list of current fastest growing cases per populations. And 7 cities are listed in the top 20 of the upcoming biggest outbreaks.

ETA: These cities are 1/2 or 2/3 the size from the above, but have nearly triple the number of cases.
