I tried a mini...for a while. My Schnauzer and he got along...too well .in the house. When I say mini, they aren't that mini! He was cute and smart. I let him go to a younger couple with a young child. I need to stick to small. Shucks. 

We picked up Miss Maggie Mae last Friday. Her mother weighs 35 pounds and her sire 40. At 8 weeks she weighed 10 #. I told the Princess that I saw a Saint Bernard in the neighbor's backyard. She is going to be good sized. We hoped to get the golden temperament without the shedding.

I caved - have you noticed ? Last Friday we picked up a golden doodle - yeah, a mutt. What a sweetheart, but she is wearing me out.

Sire was the retriever, isn't 40# small for that breed?

They are f2 crosses, and as such may not have the non shedding characteristic.

I definitely do! Yeah these dogs are so much fun if you can keep up with them! Tons of energy like they each drink a pot of coffee every hour on the hour.

Yuuuuuuuupppp sounds about right!! exactly why I haven’t gotten one cause I don’t think I could handle them but man are they smart and workaholics
