So, G is officially back at work and mostly (95%) recovered. Fatigue and some minor shortness of breath plus some loss of taste still (not full but some very subtle things taste like nothing still) is all that's left. Two days left in quarantine from work for D. He's free from doctors orders quarantine, but their workplace has SO many cases that they've put in a rule that anyone living with someone who had COVID can only come back 14 days after the last infectious day of the person with covid - stricter quarantine than doctors orders, that how bad it's gotten. New COVID cases HAVE slowed down in their work place in the last two weeks but that might be because like one or more people were getting it almost every day for a while there and they may be reaching some level of temporary internal herd immunity. It might also be from the new policies.

Did you build your own set or did you start with a kit? I've seen both and I'm leaning towards building one, here. DD needs a bit of pushing, but Crazy Dog needs the job!

Both. We do some stuff with haybales and lawn chairs with branches but we have a teeter totter and PVC jumps and such and weave poles we got from my sister that she bought (for her aforementioned beagle mix). Also the local dog park has a permanent agility installation now.

They were kind of funny - we forgot to put out directions for them and some people bit into them like chocolates and had regret. XD Oops but it was funny and most people took it in good humor.

They worked well enough but were kind of a pain to make. We really needed bigger molds.

They're smooth chocolate spheres filled with hot cocoa powder and sometimes seasonings and mini marshmallows and sprinkles. We made some cinnamon flavored and some regular. You pour hot milk or water over them and they melt and you sir them in to make instant hot cocoa.

Back in my misspent dog-show youth, i met the Rosens - the couple responsible for starting the Greyhound rescue in my area. They were the first to "export" retirees and speed-failures from the Massachusetts tracks to the MId-Atlantic, often bringing twenty at a time. Betty was a gem! She described greyhounds as very large lap-cats. Clean, quiet, crazy-fun when excited ... it SO fits! I will warn you, though. If you plan on getting two at once ... you'd better have a BIG couch, 'cuz that's the only way you're gonna have a place to sit!

That is exactly what Greyhounds are. Part fun smart outgoing dog, part quiet take half your lap cat! Best of both worlds ifn' you ask me.

Nowadays Greyhound people buy their dogs their own beanbag type beds because they love to snuggle in and sleep on their backs with all four in the air. However, I actually do have an extra extra couch. Big enough for 3 large dogs too. Some gosh awful ugly thing that was a fancy schmancey expensive city couch at one time, handed down to me when a friend got a whole new set. Horrible to sit on for humans, but comfy to sleep on for guests...that's the only reason it's still here.
I'll gladly give it to the dogs and direct any guests to the Holiday Inn.

Beats the 45 year old German Shepherd sized hole in my heart. After Rhon died I vowed to never have another GSD.

Elliott is on 2 pot chews, tight T and pillow therapy. Vest is in the mail direct from manufacturer. We are going up the Mountain to escape the warzone for sure but I guess everyone has to practice setting off their bombs b4 setting off their bombs. We had 5 close to the house last eve. Poor Elliott.
