Someone I know got caught up in a spammed sign up deal via email.
Was only supposed to be for medical pros, but they let her sign up and she has an appointment. Will be interesting to see how that shakes out.

I thought it would be quite interesting to monitor what happens when the majority of the population over penshionalbe age suddenly change sexual preferences.
As far as I know my stepmother prefers cats these days. Will this mean the tom she currently keeps is on short notice.:p

There have been a flurry of text and email messages going through here since I got the link.

Someone responded that they're given leftover doses to anyone they can round up when they get through their scheduled appointments. She says people are starting to hang around vaccination centers after 3pm to see if they can just get routed through.

Good idea! I just don't like the thought of a crowd scene. I made mid-day appointments so I hope that goes smoothly. I'll breathe a sigh of relief once jabbed. A BIGGER one once jabbed twice!

I read a piece about how some evengelical was telling his audience that taking the Covid vaccination would turn them gay.
My stepmother, just turned 80 has recently had her vaccine shot as have quite a few over 80's in the UK. I thought it would be quite interesting to monitor what happens when the majority of the population over penshionalbe age suddenly change sexual preferences.

What happens if you’re already gay? Asking for a friend.

Very true but type one diabetics can greatly reduce their dose of insulin by restricting carbs. Lots of new information about.

Dr, Michael Mosley in the UK is doing a lot of work on that.

I'm not diabetic but I've been using his Blood Sugar Diet to address my co-morbidity during the lockdown. Lost 30 pounds -- which is a MIRACLE for me. I've never had this kind of success.

It's all about cutting out carbs. If anyone wants to check it out google Blood Sugar Diet. It might help someone.

Dr Westman at Duke univ has the a good food plan. It is amazing how powerful food is. I have been following it since March 15. Being a lifelong sugar addict, I am amazed at how I don’t obsess about food when I stick to my plan.

I’ll check on the dosage when I get home. I think its 15 mg once per week. My inlaws were on the horse wormer 1.87% and their doctor told them to stay on it. They are high risk. Not sure why she didn’t write them a prescription.

Arguing may not be helpful but neither is giving snarky grammar lessons.
I was only responding in kind - and I wasn't being any snarkier than the quote I responded to. At least I didn't mean it to seem that way. I guess that's one of the problems with text-only conversations. We all have to be careful of not only what we read into them, but what others could, as well. The whole thing was getting out of hand. At least now we can get back to real conversations! :)

I also wonder why NO ONE talks about the things we can do in our lifestyle, ie diet, exercise, to reduce our co morbidity. You can reduce your high insulin/glucose in one day by eating a proper diet.
I can say for certainty that I have over the last 9-10 months.... (Scratching head) I think somewhere in March I showed up in here... I have talked/written about lifestyle and diet stuff in this thread with folks. I also feel like I've talk/written about recipes to boot. Butidigress.
