I've seen that California and New York are talking about loosening restrictions even though their numbers are still high, not sure how that makes sense to them but it will be interesting to see how that goes.

Because their economy is so bad they will be bankrupt before the end of the year. And we are trying to recall newsom.

Hard to say here in california. I don’t think lockdown has helped much. People are going to do what they do.

I hear people are fleeing California in droves. My sister just moved to Arizona from NC and she said houses were being bought up so fast she had a hard time getting one. Its crazy

In the area around our farm there have been five small farms and acreages sold in the last 1-2 years. Four of them are now inhabited by Californian transplants.

We had family in California that had to sell their homes and move to Utah because the taxes were too high for a retired person to live there.

It is crazy expensive to live there. Ohio is no comparison but its cheap and green . life is a game to trade offs...
I hate the covid. I'm afraid by the time they get their act together its gonna mutate and the vaccine won't be worth getting. Smh, what ya gonna do? I would like to go to work again though see something without a beak or a bark.

Happened right after the election...
I don't understand the not opening schools in some areas, states, teachers unions fighting it? Schools have been open in upstate NY since September with no probs. They gave us a choice real school or virtual we haven't sent our kids yet, didn't like their rules figured it would turn into a crap show which it has for many here. Kid gets the sniffles have to pick them up and quarantine and wait for covid test. DW asked them, we have four kids in school so if one gets sent home we have to keep them all home right? No, only the one that has symptoms.... We all live in the same house, does that make any sense to any of you all?

Pretty sure NY, our Gov Cuomo holds the record for Uhaul salesman of the yr, even before covid.

Not really, nothing makes sense. Our school is in but so far this month alone there's been 12 cases. This school has only 4 grades in it small by most standards.Alot of the parents are doing the don't ask don't tell. I guess work or carelessness they send them anyway.I know the school wants the kids in they need the money.Parents need to work. We all need to survive. Nothing makes sense beer can.we just gotta go with it as best we can. And pet a chicken along the way.
