I thought young people didn’t get it.

It doesn't exhibit in the same way in kids. Many are asymptomatic. Some are only slightly under the weather. Some get multi system inflammatory disease which can cause lifelong cardiac issues.

Two of my kiddos got it back in October. One is a long hauler.... Still. A few cousins in AR whom are ummmm, not the brightest crayons gave "The Aunt & Uncle everyone loves" covid and the Aunt went in the hospital w/100% O² and after quite some time was released to go home but, stayed on it for a long time. During that fiasco, well over a dozen of that side of the family in that group also got covid sick and several kids did too. We lost another Aunt to covid during that period iirc too.

Thanks. The rest of the struggles are at least partially shared in this thread..... 2020 was a awfully hard span of months personally speaking.

Still hunting high and low for the covid shots. Found a place listed on line - grocery store I was headed to anyway. Filled out all info , got to store and pharmacist said they never received any vaccine. Boo ugho!! so why have folks jump through the hoops when they knew they had none? Hope my health data etc doesn't get spread around the internet.

My sister in NM got her shot easy peasy - neighbor told her one Walmart had it, she went, got the shot and they even gave her an appointment for the second one.

Looks like India has banned the Pfizer vaccine of side effect concerns and SAEs.

“The committee noted that incidents of palsy, anaphylaxis and other SAE’s have been reported during post marketing and the causality of the events with the vaccine is being investigated.“
