It’s just an empathy issue. Many people are unable to put themselves in others shoes or view life from a different lens. If they are not at risk then they aren’t afraid and don’t care about the risk other people may face. As an <25 person I see this primarily with my own age group but this is definitely not a mindset limited just to the young folks, unfortunately.

I hope that all of you who want the vaccine will be able to get it as soon as possible. Those that don’t want it, well, good luck to you.
I'm a nurse im full of empathy but I'm also full of common sense.

I wasn’t referring to you. Can I ask why you’re concerned about unforeseen long term effects from the vaccine (undocumented) but not unforeseen lingering effects from the virus (documented- posted one page back)?
It should make you wonder why 60% of the health care population is refusing to get this vaccine

I have a family to support so I need to live a long time. My immune system is good so I would rather take my chance, cuz we are all taking chances one way or the other, with the virus. I just don't get sick so I'm pretty confident I'm safe with the virus
Are you still working as an RN...if so, in what environment?
Do you mask and distance in most scenarios?
