Where could we go to read more about this type of vaccine? I have had a hard time finding sources about how it works, why it's different than old types of vaccines, etc.

Thanks!!! This is very helpful. The other things I'd found were either too full of scientific jargon for me to easily grasp or they read as 100% pro- or anti-vaccine propaganda.

I would like to know more about why scientists believe it's not potentially an issue to be teaching our cells to make virus proteins...that seems...weird. But maybe it isn't an issue because of "science stuff" I don't know.

Havnt seen hardly any covid cases in the last 2 months. No vaccinations are not mandatory, Flu is strongly suggested

Why would it be? mRNA is degraded pretty quickly, and it's not like an entire virus is being made (which is what happens when one is infected with the actual virus).

I'm only talking about at the hospital I work at but Oklahoma has lifted all the mandates, my town never did have a mask mandate
