I crossed him with my white Giant hens and now have a rooster that looks much the same as that one, but much bigger and with the nice calm disposition of the Jersey Giants.

The only rule left: keep 1,5 meters distance in the public domain.

Some people/doctors say letting it go this much is, too much, too soon. Because lots of people only had 1 vaccination and people under 35 often did not have a vaccination at all yet.
And the virus from India is spreading quickly and is much more contagious as the English COVID that is spread out in our country now.

So COVID and COVID discussions didn’t go away. But the traffic jams in our country was old fashioned severe once again last Friday afternoon. Because people go to work again and a lot of people made a day trip and avoid public transport.

MDH and I stil keep a distance and don’t go to real parties or crowded places. Our second vaccination is scheduled on 13 July . Travelling to most other countries within Europe is possible with a negative test and probably possible after the 27th July with a COVID passport.

Just a bit worried about the big bad varient now. This crap will forever be around now. One of my daughters and son won't get the vaccine. Folks are so worried about side effects. There are side effects to every single vaccine out there! Considering that the whole wide world is getting these, the numbers are amazingly low with side effects. Wow, better some side effects than..long haul or worse, death. This is what I keep telling my kids. I have a son that got covid back in Oct. He still doesn't have all of his smell and taste back. And, some foods smell and taste real disgusting to him. Foods he used to love. Pretty sad. Wonder what winter will be like. I think it's interesting too but that some folks are saying, it's funny how the flu disappeared during the pandemic, lockdown and mask wearing. They ask . .what happened to the regular ol flu? Well..we were in lockdown and we wore masks, and we kept our distance. Rare that folks got sick with anything.. besides that covid. So some of my kids and I have decided that we will wear a mask when we get a cold and need to get out from now on. It's just being considerate. The Chinese and other countries have done it forever. Makes sense. Rant over. Tired of this ugly thing.

I'm almost 100% sure I got covid in January of last year. I'm still alive. Haveng gotten the vaccine either, and I won't be getting it.
I'd rather have covid then the vaccine and get natural antibodies rather than have some crap injected into me.

Get it if you want, I don't care. Just don't force it on me of other just because you think I should. I have my reasons and you have yours. Leave it at that.

Just wanted to update that I'm doing fine without a vaccine, and I'm only killing people from not getting it either.
Isn't it just supposed to help you fight it off if you get it? Y'all have said so yourselves So you aren't actaully "protecting" anyone but yourselves.

My thinking: Corona is mutating quicker if large groups of people that didn’t get a vaccine. There is no proof that the tested / accepted vaccines cause problems in general. Only mild side effects.
The very nasty problems , bad enough that people need hospital care (of worse) occur very rare :1:10.000/100.000 . About 500 - 5000 times more people that don’t get a vaccination are getting severely sick (or worse).
So imho its better for the whole wide world if all people are vaccinated asap.

In my country everyone above 25 could have their first vaccination by now. And they start vaccinating high school kids in a few weeks. Not to prevent them of getting ill , but to stop the spreading as much as possible. Here medics/people say, “Get a vaccine, do it for you’re teacher, youre parents and you’re grandparents! “.

I think it has a lot to do with the breeder. Breeding for temperament, IDK? Most roosters I've had through the yrs were hatchery and most nasty. Had some I thought were good but after few yrs nasty. I got my Giants from Sandhill Preservation Center. Might not be a breeder, but not a hatchery either. Had Giants two and Red Sussex three and one Langshan roosters. Best roosters I've ever had.
Only kept the giants, hens and one rooster, gave my brother the other one. Calmest chickens I've ever owned.
