The Delta variant often breaks through a first vaccination and people do get sick from Delta after their first vaccination (except for two weeks after Janssen J&J). And here the medics say that more people pass Delta then the other variants after they got fully vaccinated.

The Princess is auditioning for a part in a play this afternoon. It's been nearly a year and a half since she has indulged her theatrical bent. Proof of vaccination is required for all auditioning. I am fully vacinated (both doses) of Moderna vaccine, have the Walgreens card to prove it. Big deal. Tucker Carlson (one of my idols) came out and said how people should NOT jump on the bandwagon to get the shots when they have never been tested, etc. just produced at warp speed. Oh well, just add to the list of dumb things I have done in my life, which are endless. Especially when "someone," won't accept sincere apologies.

I’m having the same thoughts myself about going to my uncles family reunion in August. He is almost 90 and his older sister is over 90. I don’t think I’ll have the chance to see the aunt again so I’m going to go, but I’ll stay outside and resist the urge to hug people. It’s not just Covid either, it’s all the other viruses that run amok at such gatherings.

Well like my great grandmother used to say “nothing in this world is so bad it isn’t good for something!” I’m sorry for the Princess, it probably would have been so much fun for her. But glad that you can avoid unnecessary contact with the public.

Why does a scientific study of children wearing masks that shows detrimental effects not concern people? Why does scientific studies that show children getting the vaccine have a much greater response of heart and brain problems not concern people? Children that have been scientifically proven to be less susceptible to covid?

It concerns me a lot but anytime I speak up I immediately get shut down.
