I know, it's not good.
I read somewhere that everyone who lived through 1918 to 1920 has antibodies to that strain of influenza. The whole world was exposed, and the 90% of people who survived had antibodies against it.
At least this one isn't that lethal...

And still... And STILL! When DH and I go into town to do our weekly shopping, it often seems as if he and I are practically the only ones in the whole store who are masked. Yes, we are vaccinated. But in light of the fact that there are breakthrough infections, the virulence of the Delta variant, that we are 66 and 68 years old, that we are the ONLY family our teenage grandson has to raise him ... we are taking NO CHANCES.

Please. Be careful. Take care of yourselves, your loved ones, and your community.
