I forgot to mention ... I was at Costco, bought my goods then went to the service counter to buy a gift membership for DD1's BF. Nope, have to do that online even though I was standing right in front of her. Seems pretty stupid to me.
Did you say "I dont have access to the internet?" I dont accept anyone telling me "oh its all online". That makes me say "oh I guess you dont want my business". Hubby was told "its all online" when he went to change his status at work from married to single. When he told me that I said "you march your butt back in their and demand paper work". Sure enough he was able to get a whole packet. People just dont want to have to do their jobs. If you do it all by yourself online they dont have to

That reminds me of the farmer that wanted to start a chicken farm. He went to TSC one week and bought 50 chickens. The next week he bought another 50. The last week he bought another 50. The guy behind the counter said "wow you must really love chickens" and the farmer responds "i just cant get them to grow. Ive tried planting them upside down and sideways. I think its my soil..."

@Beer can seems to think ultimately we the taxpayer are going to pay for it, if I am following this thread accurately.
Nah, we the taxpayer/ federal govt spending/ 'free' testing, I doubt it.
I can see your thought on my comment linking people as being taxpayers paying for it but not what I meant, pretty sure it will be individual employees unwilling to get the vaccine having to pay out of their own pocket for testing weekly.
I could be wrong but doubt it, just can't see how a vaccine mandate that doesn't punish those who do not want it by giving them the option of free testing, don't see how that can twist some arms into compliance, making them pay out of their own pocket, only way I think it will go. I could be wrong we'll see.
Place I work dairy plant was told to have a plan ready in place for what they are going to do back the Sept, heard talk of it, but nothing as far as what the plan is so I can't even let you all know what we are doing about it here, guess we'll just wait and see.

Several yrs ago at a Kmart was there for buy three get one free winter tires, guy says that's a online only deal, ten miles back home DW says he should have done it there (what am I supposed to do?) ten miles back after purchasing them online I got my stupid free tire.

Gas prices down here also, few weeks ago $3.63, now $3.49. All over the news gas dropping, lol, still $1.50 higher than last yr, and I'll guarantee it goes higher. We haven't hit the high of 2008-9, don't remember how high it was but remember some places with older pumps had a prob, had no 5's on their machines it was over $5 gal some places. I don't remember exact price here just remember putting $20 in a five gal can and I did not get five gals, hasn't hit that high yet.
