Polio and smallpox were not cured over night. Death is not only a huge part of life but a necessary one. It is so hard on the living and I wish it could be easier on us. The facts are there are viruses and always have been that kills us daily. The simple flu killed many every year. I'm not saying throw in the towel but to understand this is nature. We will at some point figure out how to tame Covid as we did the others. It takes time. It will not happen next week but I hope within the next few years.
I'm so glad your daughter made the trip. I hope it is nothing to worry about. I hope your time with each other brings you both lots of joy.

It's the difference between severe and not so severe. Vaxx is just one tool in our tool boxes to keep the hospitals from exploding. I have a few kids and a few friends in health care who I care about and they are seriously tired among other emotions. They have families too. We are asking too much if not doing our part to stay safe.

I'm positive we don't use the same informational resources and I am also sure that is a large part of the problem on why this country is suffering so. Be great if we could all and had the skills to reason. Just common sense and not conspiracy alone would help us greatly.

Uncle’s wife has tested positive. Their 8 year old daughter is crying in her bed right now because she thinks Mama and Daddy are gonna die of COVID.

Hopefully they were vaccinated. Poor kid.

I'm supposed to get #2 in Feb and will ask pharmacist if this sounds normal and if I should still get it. Don't want shingles again either!

Do it! You do not want shingles. The second one didn't result in as much pain or for as long. Maybe because I gave him my right (dominant) arm since DW insists I sleep on my left side. Apparently I snore less on my left. I usually give them my left arm since I want to do things with my right without pain. But after sleeping on the first shot, I decided to take the alternate route.

But I'm having her tested first thing tomorrow. She's not vaccinated. Please God, let it be allergies!
