I am trying to get SSD. Iwas told I had to go to their doctors. I checked the box I would go but could not wear a mask and the reason why with physician note. I was told today I could not see their doctors without the mask. They will put my application on hold until everything goes back to normal.WHAT!? There seems to be nothing I can do about it either.I don't know how I'm going to make it. I don't know what to do.

They won't do a virtual visit? Grrrr.

Actually...it does mean something. People getting tested at home.
...so the results are private...
...no more testing at testing sites...
...where they count the numbers...
Ergo: no more covid.

IMHO, I don't think that is why they are doing it, at least hope not. Positive home tests with the same test kits should count. Like we all did a couple months ago, we family of .... counting... six now one moved out, so six tests at home plus prob few more, plus we had to add another six 'official' tests at the time for 'proof' of pos.
If the home test kits counted then we would have saved six tests for someone else, multiply that times thousands, millions of families.
If there was a abundance of test kits available, two years now they've had to get r done, wouldn't be a big deal, but that's not reality.

I think that's just their SOP. When I tried to get disability for my bipolar years ago, they made me be evaluated by THEIR doctors. Guess they want to be sure nobody can slip through, fooling or cheating or manipulating "civilian" doctors. And of course I got turned down. Which is how I ended up more or less homeless for about 17 years, and a lot of other people do, too. Nobody chooses to be homeless, jobless and destitute, in spite of what you may have heard. The services that are supposed to be available to help people in need are often run by cynical people with no compassion whatsoever.

I know what you are saying and seems that is how it will be for me. I bought my house. I owe no one. To find things so messed up and lose my house because of taxes floors me. Looks like I will be selling everything I can inside the house. See if I can get another couple years. Yeah Covid sure hasn't helped me any.

Definitely feeling the shortness of breath now. Have to either sleep sitting up or on my stomach or else I feel like i’m under a weighted blanket.

Lost 5lb in 2 days, so I guess that’s a bonus? Not much of an appetite so I’m forcing myself to eat 3 meals a day

I actually looked up Gizmodo on Media Bias/Fact Check. I don't even consider them a news site, more like 'click bait' and didn't think they would have a rating, but they do lol.
