In other news, guess covid affects some a little more than others,
may be a little inappropriate for some
Now that right there is a good reason for some people to get vaxxed! :)

Actually...it does mean something. People getting tested at home.
...so the results are private...
...no more testing at testing sites...
...where they count the numbers...
Ergo: no more covid.
Or
It means people will test at home and hit the PCR test site if they get a positive test at home. Then the % positivity will go up because people who test negative at home won't show up at the PCR test sites.

Definitely feeling the shortness of breath now. Have to either sleep sitting up or on my stomach or else I feel like i’m under a weighted blanket.
Don't be lax about the shortness of breath Topo. If it doesn't improve, go to the doctor. Do you have an O2 monitor? I got one on Amazon for DD1 to take back to school in Canada and one for DW here. It is a simple "stick your finger in" device.

I worked at a retirement village years ago that was quarantined because they had a virus. I didn't eat while there, washed my hands/wore gloves and mask and still got sick. I declared it went through my pores 😏. But really, I think our breath goes around and over top of the masks. Because my glasses fog shut all the time with the regular masks. We mask up regular because we are both immunocomprosed and almost lost Dh this summer to SIRS after he got both rhinovirus and enterovirus at the same time. He had the same reaction as people do from covid

We do, mine hasn’t gone below 98.

Cloth masks do protect but not from airborne partculates. The N95s do. Doctors wear masks in operating rooms to protect against bloodborn pathogens. We have the information. That information is being spun. The news needs something to talk about and debating topics helps that.
Actually they wear masks in operating room s to prevent all bacteria from entering the surgical site, not just blood borne pathogens.

Yes but bloodborne pathogens none the less. Before this all happened I never saw a doctor wearing a mask outside the operating room. Point of fact, my own doctor didnt wear a mask at all during my doctor's appointment. I had to though.

I was told because we (SSD office) did not receive the information we need from your doctor. Honestly I don't know. That is the response I got when I asked.
I think that's just their SOP. When I tried to get disability for my bipolar years ago, they made me be evaluated by THEIR doctors. Guess they want to be sure nobody can slip through, fooling or cheating or manipulating "civilian" doctors. And of course I got turned down. Which is how I ended up more or less homeless for about 17 years, and a lot of other people do, too. Nobody chooses to be homeless, jobless and destitute, in spite of what you may have heard. The services that are supposed to be available to help people in need are often run by cynical people with no compassion whatsoever.
