There are: (just a small example)

1.6 million species of fungi
10,000 species of ants
300,000 species of flowering plants
4,000-5,000 species of mammals
Over 100 billion known galaxies
Over 100 billion stars in each galaxy
Galaxies can contain 10 million to one trillion stars all orbiting a common center of gravity
Most galaxies are several hundred thousand lightyears in diameter
A galaxy itself just to get across it at the speed of light would take several hundred years
The galaxies themselves are usually separated from each other by millions of lightyears
Just to travel between galaxies would take millions of years

Where am I going w/ this? There are 10,000 species of birds w/ an Ostrich as the currently biggest known bird. At that... imagine how small a domestic fowl in our possession is compared to our known universe!

We have a Value Village here in town too. I buy work clothes from there.

We use Goodwill or Union Rescue Mission Boutique 1st... then other options next. We got a used doghouse from Goodwill for the chicken yard. A lot of other stuff for chickens from trash day castaways in yards or hand-me-downs from friends/relatives.

Our hens used one doghouse so much we acquired 4 more recycled houses for them.

Being thrifty, doesn’t mean you’re cheap. Sadly my birds think I’m cheap. They tell me every day that I’m cheap, cheap, cheap! There’s never enough corn, or meally worms, or steak morsels to fill their ravenous appetites!

Love your after-skiing boots I wore mine out years ago till there was no more sheepskin fur left at the bottom

My Baffin rubber boots, I’ll need new liners this winter. But they are awesome. Not great when it gets real cold but good for this yucky weather.

Haven't tried yet. Come spring when she sheds her winter fluff, then a brushing is an option. Right now, she needs all her fluff.
