In the mean time how Covid is affecting me as of late: hubby was really sick last week but continued to test negative for covid. He feels well enough but still has sinus congestion. He has not kissed me in over a week because hes worried he'll give it to me. Covid panic can suck it. I'm a newly wed and I'm so sick of this dumpster fire. I cant even kiss my husband now because he thinks he has to take precautions over a sinus infection.

I’m sorry. Meanwhile I kept my husband in isolation longer (than the current cdc guidelines bc he was still testing positive). He ended up being shut in our master suite for a solid week. Not sure if he’s negative yet, but seems to not have symptoms anymore. Made him sit on a separate couch, ran fans, and brought the air purifier down. Hoping it was enough time for him to not spread it to the rest of us 🙏🏼

Inconvenient, yes. But if you end up in hospital ICU, on a vent, you'd be separated much longer under worse cinditions, so the home precautions are the lesser of two. I hope the effort pays off, that he is soon well and you are never sick!

Hubby keeps saying its a sinus infection but I know him and in the back of his mind hes saying "I have covid...cant get the wife sick". It isn't like him to not kiss me with a sinus infection. But not even a peck or kiss on the cheek. He's worried.

Oh this wasn’t a complaint. I’d always rather be safe than sorry. It was towards @Ninjasquirrel remark about her hubby not kissing her over a sinus infection.

We’re not newlyweds by any stretch of the imagination now. But we very much like each other’s company.

During these times precautions are necessary. Annoying? Yes. But necessary.

@Ninjasquirrel I know you said his Covid test was negative, did he every try to get in for a PCR? (I know they aren’t as reliable for a right now infection as they can stay positive up to 12 weeks), but it may be worth trying to get? To ease both of your minds.

He wont take it. It was hard enough negotiating for him to take the at home test. As much as I want to ease his worries he's been very clear on his stance about covid. I'm sure its nagging at the back of his brain but he wont admit it. His only symptom is sinus congestion. We burn wood for heat so our house has very dry air. I'm running a humidifier in the house to get some moisture going.
