Anyone stop to think that its the testers giving the deer Covid? Theyre the only ones who get close enough. That means that 40 percent of the testers had covid and gave it to the deer
Doesn't it take a few days after exposure to develop enough to register on a test? The IL deer were dead when tested.

Back on station.

Who the heck gets that close to a deer thats alive?
I have.
When I was young my father and uncles were going to teach me how to hunt. We went to the begining of the trail to scout out the area. They stopped and started talking. I was 6yrs old. I saw a deer and walked up slowly and started petting it. They saw me and told me not to pet the animals we are going to hunt. The deer took off and we started down the trail. I was walking behind listening to them talk about the trail. How to tell by foot prints where an animal was going and how the print can tell you how long ago they had passed. The deer came up behind us and I started petting it as we walked the trail. MY uncle turned and said that is it you can not hunt. I was never taught how to hunt. They said it wasn't sportsmen like to hunt what is going to walk up to you.

Did they find covid in any other animals? Deer hunters now have to take caution not to get it from their kill but how about turkey and other prey?

I also wonder how long the animal was dead before it was swabbed. As stated by others could we be contaminating the deer before they get tested?
