Watching the super bowl...for the commercials. So far Doritos was the best. Seeing a lot for electric vehicles which really grinds my gears. Hydrogen power is far superior and has no emissions. EVs are the result of greed.
As a retired electrician I believe the time has NOT come for electric vehicles.
Maybe in some century but wind and solar, while improving are still a novelty.

Those wind turbines TAKE more energy to make than they can ever create and the solar they sell you with a 20y note only LAST 20 years.

Honestly I think the whole push for it is because they dont want the push for hydrogen cars. Because we have the technology to make cars run on WATER. Water is free(if you have a well) and does not make money.

Plus those wind turbines ugly up the landscape something awful. And what about the factories and energy it takes to build the beasts? They make me so sad.

As far as I know it still takes more energy to crack off the hydrogen than you get from burning it. How will that power be generated? Choices I know of:
wind
solar
nuclear
fossil fuels

And you still have to truck the hydrogen to filling stations unless everyone is going to have a hydrogen generator in their home/apartment. You might want to read this before you go get a hydrogen generator ;)

Personal Positives:
  • more devotion to business and my animals
  • distanced education and work-from-home keeps me safer
  • greater care for my health
  • stay home and just relax
  • finally, a reason to not interact with people
Personal Negatives:
  • been infected twice; when it first came to the US in Feb 2020 and again in December 2020 when my brother caught it at work.
  • Reduced lung capacity. Went from alpine hikes and college track team to coughing on occasion and can't walk upstairs without getting winded. I am 24 years old and feel atrocious
  • Neurological issues now! My hands tremble if I use them for too long, my fingers twitch and get tingly, and the foggy brain/ADHD combo is BAD.
Overall, I want this to be done. I'm masked, vaccinated, and ready to GOOOOOOO

Unless your car was the hydrogen generator 🤔

Edit:this tech has existed since the 1940s: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Meyer's_water_fuel_cell

I'm so sorry to hear of your health issues from Covid :hugs. I had it too, back around Christmas of 2020. Brain fog, check. But I'm 68 and not as sharp as I used to be anyway, so what's a few more brain cells? Wainaminnite! What am I saying? I can't spare any!!! 🤯 Yeah, can't seem to feel healthy and strong. Again, how much of this is just due to age, and how much is due to Covid kicking me down the track, who knows? I've slowed down a lot, but the blessing is I take life slower, I smell the roses, I watch the bird feeder and my chickens more. So it's all good.
