There's alot of behind the scenes going on in regards to airborne pathogens in a hospital. I know a guy one of his jobs at a hospital is to go around with a handheld machine looks like a BBQ pit lighter. It's a smoke machine and he goes around testing doors to make sure the negative or positive pressure is working. He has an infection control shirt on cause people were thinking he was taking pictures or something by sticking the machine at the bottom of patient doors. He said he has to show the machine all the time.

For a long while I was used to washing my hands a lot and all the hospital germ precautions.
My father was a transplant patient. He received a heart in 1990. For a while after his surgery he had to mask in public as a precaution against sickness because of the immunosuppressants. You wouldn't believe the looks we got. So when masking became so common I couldn't help but laugh. Most of the world was masking!

I didn't like that we had to be told to do it. I mean it's common sense that a stranger doesn't want to be that close to you. And it's amazing to me how people have already got it out of their heads. Stood in line at the store the other day; guy was so close I could hear him breathing.

And that's why it was suggested. Many are self serving and ignorant like that mouth breather.

People please, at the grocery store, farmers' market, and fruit/vegetable stand, only handle the fresh produce you are going to purchase, especially after fiddling with your mask.
