What is the best purina feed for corturix quails to get good meat development

Not sure what all Purina makes.....seems everything! I use game bird feed or turkey starter....they need feed with 24 to 26% protein. Chick starter/grower is generally 20%....regardless of brand.

Turkey startena is 30 percent. Usually what I feed mine.

I have a local elevator get it for me if they can't . I can get it at tsc.

Think my brand is "southern feed" game bird....26% $14 for a 50 lb. sack. How much is the Purina cost? I supplement with meal worms and greens.

Last I bought was 24 dollars for 50lbs.

OUCH! guess you get what you pay for...but I'll stick with the cheaper. I have been getting good results. I imagine price has a lot to do with area you live too.

Purina actually has a game bird starter that's 30% protein. Its called Startena https://www.purinamills.com/game-bird-feed/products/detail/purina-game-bird-turkey-startena

30% beats 26% I'll have to check TSC here and see how much they charge for purina....but sounds pricey for another 4%

Sorry can't figure out how to post new but had one of my two Roos dead this morning looks like maybe other roo may be the culprit but not sure will 1 be enough for 8 hens

I've had 1to8 had fertile eggs. So I don't think you will have any issues with fertility.

But it will,also depend on roo. A timid roo may only cover a few of the hens. An aggressive mating roo can cover a dozen or more.
