Coryza in one chicken

One of my birds fell sick and then her face swelled. I think it’s Coryza. I’m probably going to cull her since I know it stays with them forever. I separated her from the flock. None of my other chickens have any symptoms. Her symptoms started 4 days ago. So I know there is still a chance.

If I end up having to cull the whole flock, can I sanitize everything and get more chickens sooner than later? I run a chicken keeping class for kids and I need to have chickens.

Is there a bad odor?
Is she new to your flock or have you added new birds recently?
Photos may be helpful.

It may be wise to have some testing done to find out what you are dealing with before culling an entire flock.

Contact your state lab for testing or you can go through an independent lab.
